LASH EXTENSION POLICIES

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Clients with any of the following contraindications cannot receive service: herpes, cold sores, open sores, warts, bleeding, any other transmitted diseases, contagious diseases, sickness, skin conditions, allergies/sensitivities to lash glue, pink eye, styes etc. Any concerns must be addressed before booking.

  • Clients with allergies or sensitivities must inform Shanney beforehand. She will not be held responsible for any reactions resulting from lash procedure.

  • Clients agree not to touch or use Shanney Thich's products and work materials without permission. Any damages incurred will be reimbursed by the client at their appropriate value.

  • Any adjustments to the makeup look must be communicated to Shanney before the appointment end time. If clients require adjustments beyond the scheduled end time, an additional charge of $25 per 15 minutes will be added to the remaining balance. This overtime charge is contingent upon Shanney's availability and ability to extend her working hours.

  • Only the client receiving services is allowed; no extra people/kids are permitted during the appointment.

  • Clients agree that any pictures/videos taken by Shanney during the session will be owned by her and may be used on her social media or website for advertising purposes.

  • Shanney Thich reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and cancel service in case of breach of contract, failure to comply, policy violations, discrimination, harassment, dishonesty, theft, violence, being under the influence, or any other inappropriate behavior.

DEPOSIT POLICY 

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and must be sent immediately after booking. If deposit is not sent within 15 min of booking, appointment will be cancelled. Remaining balance due on the day of in cash only.

  • The remaining balance must be settled on the day of the appointment before your departure, and it should be made in CASH ONLY.

  • By making the deposit payment, you agree to adhere to all of Shanney's policies. Thank you


RESCHEDULE/CANCELLATION POLICY 

  • We kindly ask clients to notify Shanney as soon as possible if there is a need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. The deposit is transferable ONE time only if the request is made at least 72 hours before the appointment and applies only to appointments at Shanney's location. Cancelling or rescheduling after the 72-hour window will result in the deposit being forfeited, necessitating a new deposit for rescheduling.

  • Rescheduling must be done within 60 days; otherwise, the deposit will be forfeited. A second rescheduling will require a new deposit.

    On the day of the event, if there are fewer services agreed upon, the deposit remains non-refundable per person. You have the option to replace a canceled client for their time slot and pay the remaining balance accordingly.

  • No-shows without prior notice will result in the deposit being forfeited, and future bookings will not be allowed.

REFILL POLICY 

  • Lash fill appointments are thoughtfully scheduled based on the specific set and the required time. We kindly request clients to book appointments accordingly, matching the condition of their lashes. To ensure fairness and efficiency, Shanney will strictly adhere to the appointment time allotted for lash fills. Please understand that lash work will be limited to the scheduled time, and additional enhancements for a fuller look will depend on the availability of extra time after the appointment. Any supplementary services will incur extra fees of $ or may require paying for a new full set, depending on the condition of your lashes. 

  • Clients are expected to notify Shanney at least 72 hours in advance if they require additional time during their scheduled fill appointment due to concerns about the number of remaining lashes. Failure to provide sufficient notice may necessitate rescheduling the appointment. In such instances, a new deposit will be required to secure the revised appointment. 

    • 1 week fill touch up (before 10 days after appointment) have least 65% or more lashes left in tact after grown out lashes are removed.

    • 2- 3 weeks fills (before 21 days after appointment) have least 40% or more lashes left in tact after grown out lashes are removed.

    • Anything less than 40% in tact and/or past 21 days may be charged a new set.

LATE POLICY

  • Clients are required to inform Shanney if they anticipate being late for their appointment. A grace period of 15 minutes will be provided. However, arriving more than 15 minutes late will result in the appointment being considered a failure to notify, leading to its cancellation and the deposit becoming non-refundable.

  • In the event that a client arrives more than 15 minutes late and Shanney can still accommodate them within the allocated time slot, she will make every effort to provide the originally planned full range of services.

  • However, if the delay causes Shanney to work beyond the scheduled end time in order to complete the service, an additional charge of $25 will be applied for every 15 minutes of client’s lateness past the grace period. This overtime charge is contingent upon Shanney's availability and ability to extend her working hours.

  • In the rare case, Shanney is late, she will work overtime to finish your appointment at no cost.

TOUCH UPS

  • In the event of extreme fallout immediately after the appointment, clients should contact Shanney within 48 hours and provide pictures. A small touch-up within 72 hours of the appointment is complimentary and will take under 30 minutes. Any touch-ups required after 72 hours will be considered a 1-week fill touch-up. Please note that the longevity of the lashes is dependent on the client's aftercare.

NO REFUNDS

  • If a client experiences a reaction during the process, Shanney will promptly stop and remove the lashes free of charge. However, the deposit will be non-refundable to cover time and materials lost.

  • In the rare case that a client is dissatisfied with the results or experiences an allergic reaction after the appointment, Shanney will not be held liable, and there will be no refunds under any circumstances.

APPOINTMENT REMINDERS

To ensure a smooth and efficient appointment, we kindly ask you to follow these guidelines:

  • Please arrive on time or 5-10 minutes early to find parking.

  • If you anticipate being late, kindly inform Shanney in advance. There is a 15-minute grace period, but lateness exceeding this may lead to the appointment being canceled, subject to availability, and the deposit will be non-refundable. If Shanney has availability, an additional charge of $25 per 15 minutes late after the grace period will be added to the remaining balance for overtime work to complete the appointment.

  • No extra people or kids are allowed during the appointment.

  • Come to the appointment with no makeup or skincare products on your face to ensure proper lash application and retention.

  • Ensure your lashes are clean and free from oil, mascara, and liner.

  • Avoid caffeine before the appointment to ensure a comfortable experience.

  • The remaining payment must be made in cash only at the end of the service.

  • For fill appointments, if less than 40% of lashes are intact, a full set charge will apply. Please be prepared for this possibility.

  • A lash cleanser is available for purchase at your appointment for $15.

COVID-19 UPDATES/REMINDERS

  • For your safety and the safety of others, please inform Shanney ahead of time if you have recently traveled, been sick, or had contact with anyone who might have been exposed to Covid-19. Prior to the appointment, a 2-week (14-day) quarantine period is required.

  • As a licensed esthetician, Shanney follows strict sanitation procedures to ensure the well-being of her clients.

  • If you experience any symptoms of illness on the day of the appointment, please notify Shanney immediately. Unfortunately, the makeup service will not proceed in such cases. The deposit is non-refundable, but you have the option to replace your appointment slot with another person. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in these Covid-19 related measures.
